Elliott Laboratories to present Seminar on Shielding Design for EMC
Join us on June 8 and 9, 2010 when EMC expert, systems design advisor and author of the EMCT: High Speed Design Tutorial, Michael King will present a lecture on Shielding Design for EMC.

During the course of this seminar, you will learn how shields function with regard to enclosures, localized shields, and cables. In particular, we'll explore the demands placed on shields at increasingly higher frequencies and shorter wavelengths and take a look at the broad concepts of how shield structures function in terms of losses and much more.

As part of this seminar, you will also receive a complimentary copy of the EMCT Module 3: Shielding Methodologies and Applications (a $599 value if purchased separately). This module, part of a 4 module series of the EMCT: High Speed Design Tutorial contains more than 350 screens of information.

Seminar on Advanced Troubleshooting Techniques for Circuits and Systems
Designers, test and quality engineers should mark their calendars for June 10, 2010, when renowned EMC guru, Doug Smith will be presenting a half day lecture techniques to troubleshoote design problems both in the lab and in field installations.

Learn techniques for tracking down difficult design or equipment problems in the lab or field and to reproduce in the lab difficult field problems that happen intermittently.Develop an understanding for the kinds of design issues and noise sources that cause designs to fail. You will also learn how to locate and deal with the sources of noise that cause problems in designs and about noise related reliability problems in system, board, and device design. As a special bonus, Doug will include a one year free subscription to his new engineering training site http://CircuitAdvisor.com as part of this seminar.
