Thomas Parker, CHAIRMAN, CO-FOUNDER
Thomas Parker founded Elliott Laboratories in 1979 to provide product safety, EMC consulting and compliance testing services to the electronics industry and served as Elliott's President & CEO until 1994. Currently Mr. Parker is Director of Quality Assurance. Prior to founding Elliott Laboratories, Mr. Parker was cofounder of two local computer equipment manufacturing companies. Mr. Parker began his career as a microwave equipment design engineer for Varian Associates. Mr. Parker received his B.S.E.E. from San Jose State University.
Eddie Pavlu, PRESIDENT, CEO
Eddie joined Elliott in 1997 as Vice President of Engineering and served as Chief Operating Officer from: November, 1999 to November, 2000. Prior to joining Elliott, Eddie managed the Engineering Operations Group for the Access Business Unit at Cisco Systems. Prior to Cisco, he managed the EMC Engineering department at Bay Networks. Eddie received a BSEE from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985 and a MEEE from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1988. He has authored and published several technical papers on EMC and has a patent as co-inventor of an EMC Termination Technique.
Jerry Grenier, VICE PRESIDENT FINANCE, CFO
Jerry possesses a broad range of financial experience and expertise, from raising venture capital funding to managing all financial aspects of an IPO. Prior to joining Elliott in 1994, Jerry served as VP, Finance and CFO for notable San Francisco Bay Area companies, including Southwall Technologies, and Michigan-based Champion Home Builders, which grew from a start-up to a Fortune 500 firm under Jerry's financial direction. Jerry is a Certified Public Accountant and he holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Detroit and an MBA from Chaminade University in Hawaii.
Barry Klinger, VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS, CO-FOUNDER
After holding various bay area engineering positions, Barry joined fellow Elliott co-founder, Tom Parker, in 1984 as the company's director of EMC engineering. Since then, Mr. Klinger has held several positions within the company including President & CEO from: 1994 - 2000. He is currently responsible for the design and construction of Elliott's high quality test facilities as well as all information systems.
David Bare, CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
David joined Elliott Laboratories as a consultant in 1988 and has held various engineering positions within the company. Currently, in his role as Chief Technical Officer, David is responsible for ensuring that Elliott's engineering operations are in alignment with the ever-changing needs of the company's extensive client base. Prior to joining Elliott, David worked at several computer and peripheral manufacturing firms as an EMC engineer. David received his BSEE from University of the Pacific in 1978 and a MBA from Santa Clara University in 1984. He has authored and published several technical papers on EMC and lectured on EMC through the University of Wisconsin's CEEE program and at Elliott Laboratories.
Tom Wetzel, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SALES & MARKETING
Tom brings a broad background of Sales & Marketing expertise to his role at Elliott Labs. Tom started his career on Madison Avenue, holding media buying and planning positions with several NYC ad agencies, including McCann-Erickson Worldwide, one of the largest agencies in the industry. In the late 1990s Tom moved into the world of interactive marketing and went on to hold business development positions with two Silicon Valley start-ups. In his role at Elliott Labs Tom holds responsibility for defining and implementing the company's strategic sales and marketing plans. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pace University.
