ELLIOTT LABORTORIES SELECTED BY VERIZON AS INDEPENDENT TEST LABORATORY IN NEBS TESTING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Elliott Joins Nation's Premier Test Labs Recognized under Verizon Certification Program
SUNNYVALE, Calif. March 10 - Elliott Laboratories, one of Northern California's premier compliance testing and engineering service providers, has been selected by Verizon as a certified Independent Test Laboratory to perform Network Equipment and Building Systems (NEBS) testing and related services at its facilities in Sunnyvale, California.
As a Verizon certified Independent Test Laboratory (ITL) under Verizon's NEBS Testing Certification Program, Elliott Laboratories is certified to conduct NEBS testing on telecommunications equipment to be sold for use in Verizon's telecommunications network.

The NEBS-related services that Elliott Laboratories is certified to provide to Verizon manufacturers include the development of test plans, conducting tests and reporting product compliance with applicable standards. Under Verizon's NEBS-TCP program, telecommunications equipment manufacturers are required to select certified ITLs, such as Elliott Laboratories, for the testing of their products.
NEBS is a set of standards designed to insure the performance, safety and regulatory compliance of telecommunications equipment subjected to earthquake, fire, corrosive environments, thermal, EMC and other damaging environments.
Verizon established its certified ITL program to certify independent laboratories that have met their quality standards for NEBS testing. Elliott Laboratories compliance testing is performed in accordance with the latest revisions of GR-1089-CORE as well as other industry and government standards.
With a quality assurance program that conforms with all applicable industry and government requirements, including ISO 17025, Elliott Laboratories has more than 20 years of compliance engineering experience. The company is an A2LA-accredited laboratory. Elliott Laboratories testing facilities are located in Sunnyvale and Fremont, California.
