ELLIOTT TO PRESENT PAPERS, WORKSHOPS AT IEEE SYMPOSIUM ON EMC 2004
Elliott to Present Two Papers and Two Workshops at Premier Industry Event
SUNNYVALE, Calif. June 16 - Elliott Laboratories, Silicon Valley's premier regulatory compliance testing and consulting firm, will participate in two workshops and present two papers at the IEEE's annual EMC Symposium in Santa Clara, CA this August.
On Friday August 13, Mark Briggs, VP/Engineering of Elliott Laboratories, will discuss the topic of regulatory requirements for wireless devices in the European Union during the full-day IEEE 802.11 Wireless workshop, which will focus on the explosive deployment of 802.11 wireless local area networks.
Also on Friday August 13, Eddie Pavlu, President of Elliott Laboratories, will chair the EMC Design Methodologies and Practical Applications workshop, which will present an overview of various design methodologies with a focus on their impact on products.
In addition to these two workshops, Elliott Laboratories will also be presenting two papers at the Symposium. In conjunction with the lntel Wireless Products Division, Elliott will present a paper titled Power Measurements of OFDM and DSSS Signals, which will discuss the pros and cons associated with each of the widely utilized measurement methodologies. Additionally, David Bare, CTO of Elliott Laboratories, will present a paper titled EMC for Medical Devices, which will focus on the unique regulatory compliance challenges faced by medical device manufacturers.
Elliott Laboratories will also be exhibiting at the EMC Symposium 2004 and can be found in the exhibit hall at booth #508.
